Well, that one painting tutorial helped me understand them a little better. For now they're a bit stylized, though, I'd have to study some real trees to get the finer details down. But for the most part, I just remember that every tree starts from one point, then splits, and continues splitting until it reaches the end. Also, branches aren't 100% straight, so I try to make sure they bend a little here and there XD
I can improve, but I do like this one since I didn't reference it =3
