I've never heard of a jumping spider before.

I hear you on the not-squashing-spiders thing. If they're a big enough size and not those really thin-legged ones in the corners, I typically catch them with a cup and throw them outside. I'm not fond of spiders, but having to deal with them often since we moved into an older house kind of helped me get over it for the most part.

Now, jumping spiders are a little different; because of their cute mannerisms and those two big eyes in the front, I actually think they're cute :3 Other spiders, no... not so much.

Reminds me of how I keep finding spiders in my shower... ughhhh the fact that by the time I'm ready to step in I already have my glasses off and can't see them doesn't help...
