Ooh, thanks :D I'd say the closest I've played to an otome game would be playing as the girl in Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Towns, so to be honest, my experience with them is next to nothing ^_^; But I'm happy to receive recommendations (and a little blood doesn't bother me; most of the stuff I read/watch/play is +13, with a few +17 exceptions, but those are the new Phoenix Wright game and Poker Night 2, which I'd call milder "M" ratings)

if u do like otomes you should look at lemmaforumns - they have plenty of G -rated vns

I hope I didn't offend you, because that wasn't my intention ._.; I guess I've just heard too much about the wrong kinds of dating sims that the good ones just get buried under a bad reputation... I should probably look for some of these good ones.

Ooh, cool :D It's refreshing to see a dating sim that isn't rated +18 ^_^ I like the concept of the dating sim, but aside from Harvest Moon wasn't too sure of any I could try (aside from Princess Debut, but I haven't tried that one)
