I'm so glad to help, Bonnie ^U^ Especially since this artwork is amazing!!! Hooray! I know how you felt though, cuz artists like us want perfection ;) But then people usually see their art ina totally different perspective (like how I didn't even notice the mistake!)
AH Mr. Choir director will love this, I'm sure! If for some stupid reason he didn't, then he doesn't appreciate fine arts!!! Cuz this painting is definitely worthy to be up on a wall :D I love that you are painting too, I don't paint often and I'm left in awe of people who do! so that means I'm now even more in awe of your skillz!!
Thaaaaank yoooouuu!! *hugs* I don't remember the last time someone dedicated me a fan art, LOL! Thanks a lot for this super beautiful painting. *u* I love the colorful trees and their reflections in the water. Love it a lot! <33
I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls <3
Thank you!!! :D Yeah, I don't paint nearly as much as I draw xD so I like to get people's opinion, as I judge it myself and then second guess myself xD Plus it's nice to hear different opinions from others :3 Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it :)
Awwwwww thank you Jenn! That's just what I needed to hear-that art is more unique if it's not perfect! ^^ I was just reminded why I love art so much, and why it's so diverse :) Thing is...the person who it's for (Mr. Choir director), apparently like Vaughan and Parisian art so it's hard to decide what I wanted to paint...plus I hardly paint on a regular basis (I was originally going to do a pencil sketch, but my mom bought me frames xD so paintings looked better in them :3) But I'm happy you like it! And didn't notice the mistake that much xD
WOW Bonnie, this is beautiful!!!! Don't be nervous, your friend will love this as a gift, I know it!!
I didn't notice the mistake at first, but I looked longer and I saw the tree reflection (and confirmed it with your previous comments)... But like I said, I didn't even notice it and then I wasn't even sure I saw the right mistake! LOL I know how you'd feel about it, but I think art is even more unique and beautiful when it isn't perfect, you know? Many celebrated artists have artworks which are different and daring, and that makes them even more beloved <3
I think this painting is super incredible and the reflection looks fine and doesn't ruin it in any way <3
Amazing work with the paints too!! *U*
*huggles you* Thank you so much Hana-chan! I'm thrilled that you like it :D The tiny red tree near the church is on the wrong angle, which is a small mistake and probably not noticeable unless I point it out xD
Thank you for viewing, and commenting<3 ^^
Aww thank you Elric-chan! Yep, it's framed so there's glass in front of the picture that I took :3 If you look closely, you can see my silhouette as well xD Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it so much!<3 And the mistake was the little red tree's reflection >3< it's on a wrong angle compared to the other reflections...
The cool thing: it looks like you're looking at it through a window or something. The river's kinda glazed by a glass effect (though that might be your camera, too). Is it just matted or framed too?
