Hahaha I've been so focused on Gryphons lately, yeah!! Thanks to AnBu!! xD I find that I can work on a creative creation (the gryphon) but also practice my painting and the light/shadow play as well... so its been great!

WAH thanks a million! *happy tears* I think I rushed this one a bit and didn't do as much double-checking as I usually do as to where the legs should have been... So it makes me feel much better to know that the legs look OK!! :D
I should do that!! Actually Toyotami kun asked me for a cloud tutorial once and I haven't been able to do it yet since I was worried about explaining my technique properly without confusing anyone or myself (lots of times, I just scribble in the clouds and use a fuzzy brush texture). I'll definitely think of recording my work one day and posting it as a tutorial! Thankyou for asking!

Gosh this is such a wonderful piece. Btw you're really on a gryphon roll aren't you?! Perhaps I should call you gryphon girl from now on haha. Aaaanyways back to ze art.

I love the poses, very dynamic and I love that the gryphon is turning in the air. Also the legs look pretty difficult to find a decent position (i've also thought of drawing a flying griffon) but you did it great! Pff and the lighting -- the clouds and that yellow gleam really worked out. Great contrast o fthe sun and the darkness under the wings. How did you manage to get those clouds so fluffy? Perhaps you should consider making a cloud tutorial some time! :P

And the moon! it really hides itself well in the little corner :P I like that there's some blue in it haha :3 Did you use a reference for the wings??

Oh and I love the head design! The ears! :D
