Hmmm I think this would be considered one of the very large griffons. Like around the same size as a huge tiger, or bigger!

Haha! Sometimes I really get the impression you can read my mind! You know, when I had finished my version I thought it would have been better when he looked at the viewer and: You made him/her look at me.It´s loveable and has much more impact that way. And the eagle head fits perfectly, too. I like the look in his eyes, the pose which gives you the (wrong) impression that the griffin would be too slow for anything because it´s too lazy.
All in all you did -like always- an amazing job.
