YES! Turns out, book Howl is the only Howl I seem to draw anyway- (there's so much freedom in design that way; nothin' against Miyazaki's)
There isn't any book Howl fanart on TheO (aisde from one other pretty pencil piece) and if there is I'm not looking hard enough! I HAVE TO CHANGE THAT! LOL A character as dynamic as him (and Sohpie of course!) deserves all praise!
Eh, I was okay with Calcifer in the movie, no complaints.
It seems the soft effect is how I watercolor; "dreamy" it's been called.
Thanks, by the way~

YES ! Finally someone else who prefers the book version of Howl instead of the movie one ! The film it's gorgeous but totally different from the book ! And i hate the Calcifer in the movie it's too cute to be a demon ! The draw it's so soft and beautiful ! I love it
It was a real surprise. Compared to a friend's scanner, the outcome was much more vivid than I thought it would be. I didn't have to do much in photoshop, except darken the colors a tiny-bit.
Although, his scanner has settings that all assume it's an actual photograph I'm scanning. Pshh. XD
I need more practice drawing him. I fall in and out of thinking that he looks 'great!' after I draw him. Ha
