Wow~! Thank you~! I never thought about that...I think I should probably do more of that in pictures because I do the same thing, of just having characters in different poses staring at nothing.
I know it's strange, but my favorite thing about this artwork is actually how well you did their eyes, and the eye contact. For me, it makes the artwork about 110% better, because watching characters connect, even a tiny amount, gives life to an artwork. One of the biggest problems in my artwork that that my characters that I draw are too stagnant and don't interact, or have different poses. ;___;
Your coloring and shading look wonderful as well, and the color/shading on Aladdin's hood is excellent from an artistic standpoint. Honestly, I love this idea. Now wish I could see this as a real movie. I mean, the more females that sweep a man off of his feet, the better. ;)
Err, just a regular art program that is free. It is sort of like Photoshop except it has better brushes (in my opinion), but is not as customizable, and you can't really edit pictures all that well. It has a lot of problems, but it is also still very useful and nice, because it is free, afterall.
Yeaaaahhhhh~! That's from laziness...;orz And I also wanted to keep with the idea that this is a genderbent version of that scene.
Female Aladdin's wardrobe is supah detailed and I would not like draw her in full body! XD I looked up lots of stuff about arabic princess clothing and I tried my best to represent that in Aladdin's design, but the rest of the dress is covering her body and probably very detailed and yeahh...Too lazzzyyy...;orz
SO GOOD!! *3* Man, I've missed seeing colored work from you. Your shading gets me everytime... ;u; I like that you kept the same lighting (?) as the original, so that the shadows and things are the same color as in the movie.
Jasmin looks good as a prince! *3* AND FEMALE ALADDIN IS AWESOME!! I'd actually love seeing a fullbody of female Aladdin, because I imagine the outfit would just look so cool on her... Great job with both of them, Wakusei! And good luck in the challenge!! >3<
