Check online for sales for the prismas. Usually, Micheal's, Dick Blick, and Hobby Lobby run internet specials at different times with nice discounts.
Sounds like many of the pigments are going to be shattered in the wood. You could use them for making wax arts.
well thats the only reason I got them was because I have the recycled paper, It's very smooth. And ya I mean I can literally pull out sections of lead from my prisma color. I'm so mad I dropped them! (down like four steps) It was a larger pack(40+ colors) so now i just have to wait for hobby lobby to have another 40% coupon lol
All of your prismas are damaged? That's sad to hear cause it's expensive to replace the whole set. Hopefully, you can get some use out of them still.
The crayolas do go on smoother but are more temperature sensitive than prismas due to their blend of wax to pigment. Prismas were designed for use on the heavier artist papers with a slight texture for color build up and blending. I haven't tried color blending with the crayolas, so have fun experimenting on blending on the recycled paper.
well to be honest it's crayola because it blends really well on this particular paper that i'm using (its recycled paper) I was using these weird knock off pencils I got at school because I dropped my prisma colored pencils so all the lead broken on the inside >.<

I especially like the way you drew and colored her eyes, the facial marks and her lips. I also like that the colors have a warm touch to them.
