I usually don't color at all and use some other alternative media to make up for the lack of color (so for say, charcoal pencils or shading) or find another color that's close to the color that I wanted in the first place. That reminds me, I need to go out and buy more art materials xD;
I can look up for tutorials if you'd like! Tumblr has a ton of those, not to mention deviantArt and probably Youtube~
Hooray practice~ (;u;)/
I used a lot of reference pictures for the positioning of the sun, and a lot of tutorials on everything else. I kind of imagine the scene this way, but it doesn't really turn out the way I want it to be...it supposed to be a fantasy-lie setting....but...;m;
Oh, I shade in a very simple way. It's nothing extravagant or fancy, actually. For me, the problem is picking the right colors that wouldn't cancel out, meaning they would go well together and may not seem like I was picking random colors. That's frustrating because sometimes, I don't have the colors I would like to have xD;
I deffo draw and color better traditionally rather than digitally. I would love to learn how to draw and color digitally *u*

Your traditional coloring is much more better than mine. Because when it comes to color choice, which color for darker shading or which for the lighter tone, I don't know how to pick all that, it's very frustrating when I try to color my art traditionally.
Oh, pssh! That piece of art? That was nothing, really all I could do with traditional art. I still have a lot to learn with coloring, so I feel like your coloring skills are better than mine xD;
This was creative in the sense with the shading and lighting. I honestly can't stop staring at it.
Yoooo this is so cool and ominous. *-* The lighting came out really cool! I love how the jagged pier contrasts with the light colors in the sunset. The purple shadows in the clouds add a great effect, too!! :D

The clouds and the colors you chose are pretty and nice to look at. They set the atmosphere.

That's too bad! Then how do you make up for the color that you don't have?
Me too, I want to learn how to color landscape digitally. >:I

Ooh yay for practice! Landscapes are the bomb! Very intense colors and the clouds look very fluffy. Did you use a reference picture?
