Awawawa~ you're the only person who have mentioned the clouds. xD I was hoping people won't find the artwork empty so I drew a simple BG. But since no one mentioned it, until you did, I thought "okay, maybe the background wasn't that important..."
xD I somehow get the feeling that we both like the same type of heroin in a story.
Balsa's design and her expressions in the official Seirei no Moribito's scans are what prompt me to add the anime in my watchlist. I guess I did the right thing, since everyone recommended it! :>

Yep balsa is my favorite character, she's the strongest, fighter girl. I really recommend watching that anime! Good story line, nice fight scenes but also family fealings and yeah.. just watch it if you have time ^^
I thought she looked kinda familiar and when you wrote Balsa it connected. Actually, I only have seen bits and pieces myself from this anime but Balsa is a really well developed chara and I feel that you captured her personality really well in there.
