Yup, second light. I thought about making all of the highlights warm tint. Wanted something different, unexpected, not ordinary. I think it did the job. Thanx for the thought.
So is the purple a secondary light source or is the room a cool color environment? I would have used warmer color shadows cause of the fire being a bright light source.
I'm starting to dig different colors for highlighting and shadowing now. I want to use "off" colors nowadays, notice there's green in there. I like the use of light hitting an object and the object "absorbs" the color and gives off a reflective glow. Yellow and Purple tint.
I use both Sketchbook(on the go) and Photoshop CS6 to remaster it. Someday I'll save up and get me a Cintiq. Right now I'm using a Intous I bought used.
I heard there's an app called Clover paint for android and it's way powerful for sketching/design.
I love that pose, it's very dynamic and action packed! Also neat coloring on her face - I think it's good that you made a lot of yellow tins (also on her legs) because the light is so yellow). Is that the usually program you use? (ha yes you got me interested as well :P)

Just leave it like this, it looks like a marker only drawing that some artists did for storyboards.
