I think it is. Wacom Intuos Pro is much bigger than the Bamboo and it has a better pen, with an eraser feature on the back of it like a regular pencil.

Mm, yes! I have a Wacom drawing tablet(Bamboo I think...?), and I used a program called FireAlpaca. I like the program, but I think it's better for line art than colouring.
