Well yeah, even now a lot better medical options are available to wealthy people who need them, plus they're more likely to be able to find the time off work to seek these kinds of treatments.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Ooh, that's a scary thought. And yeah, a lot could be done with power on that scale, especially given that rich people & organizations have a lot of money, so there'd be a massive power imbalance.

That is really cool, I'll have to research more about it. And yeah, it could be used for some pretty serious damage in the event of warfare. There should be some kind of law about that, but a lot of humans don't seem to recognize limits on what should and shouldn't be done to other humans.
But yeah, all that potential is really exciting, I have a chronic stomach condition that's been getting worse so I'd really love to see what something like that could do for me. Too bad it's not well-developed enough to put to use yet.

Ahh yeah, I learned to ski when I was five and my first few times out were terrifying. I went with my grandfather, who seems to have no idea that other people have limits, so he took Little Me to the top of the mountain and set me loose on all those unfortunate enough to be in my path. And then I spent the next couple years falling over.

I should! When I get more energy I will, and I'll write the one about the glitter! In fact, I'll probably write lots about glitter and other magical concoctions!

That really sucks. And while it's technically true that you can find anything to back up your argument through Google, forcing someone to try to be something they're not hurts them. And if he doesn't see that, then he can't be a good doctor to his patients.

That sounds like a pretty crappy doctor, not only was that really disrespectful to you but there's also proven research showing that allowing people who are dysphoric to present the way they'd like to greatly boosts confidence and mental health, and that repressing it causes suffering. I'd think a doctor would know that. It sounds like what he was really saying was "Just do the most convenient thing, rather than the healthiest." As professional advice goes, that's not great.
I hope you can eventually find professionals who are willing to help. I wouldn't go to him again, because it sounds like even if he could be persuaded to do anything he wouldn't be motivated to provide you with the best information or help.

I hope you eventually will be able to feel comfortable buying the things you enjoy. Might be easier to do it in steps, like just buying small things to have in your house at first and then later wearing/having girly things outside if you want to. Madoka stuff sounds really cute too!

I'll go look at it! I've been skiing so I wasn't online much, but I'll go check that out now.
...could nano-terror be fixed with glitter?

I'm not sure. Apparently I'm anemic and definitely sleep-deprived, so it can be hard to tell because those things make me exhausted anyway.
Do you think I should pick up that story again?

YES! FIGHT OFF EVIL DOCTORS WITH THE POWER OF GLITTER!
So I forgot I was building that adventure world, but that should eventually be an entry!
