Oh yeah, I think I just airbrushed some black on a multiply layer in the corners. :0 Putting overlays on top before merging the layers can look nice too, but I dont remember if I did overlays this time or not. xD;

Ah thanks much!! I've never watched Tokyo Ghoul, so I don't know what to say about their backgrounds. xD
As for the texture, I actually just saved it as a jpg on SAI, and set the quality really low (maybe to like 30-ish?). When I do fake screenshots, I usually merge all the layers, then use the blur tool on a low density to make things look a little duller, then save it as a low quality jpg. ;o

I think this works really well as a fake screenshot. Dun worry about the background (there are lots of animoos out there who put nothing into their backgrounds *cough*Tokyo Ghoul*cough*) I think it looks lovely~ :3
I like the texturing on this! Did you take it with your phone or is this some magical filtering on photoshop?

This is fabulously sassy. and the background is cool, because perspective is DIFFICULT! (one of my many problems with drawing...sigh)
