Oh thanks! In fact i'm not sure how much time this draw took me, because I used to work on it like an hour when I was inspired, but it was surely a lot of time! By tablet I mean a normal galaxy samsung. As much as I find digital art interesting I think traditional is the best for me, so i will continue with that, but I can still try doing something digital by time to time! :)
This looks way way better than my first mouse render. It would've took me at least 2-3 weeks to do this with a mouse. Question: when you mentioned "tablet", did you mean a graphics tablet(i.e. Wacom intuos) or something like an ipad/galaxy?
TBH, manipulating a mouse to act like a pencil/pen when drawing is really, really hard. I gave up after a few tries.
If you're still interested in digital rendering. I suggest getting a graphics tablet. There are tablets out there that are inexpensive ($20-&30) floating around. Using it might be awkward at first, but once you get the hang of it, you will be drawing naturally as if you're drawing on paper.
Thanks ^^ and yes in any case drawing with the mouse is kinda impossible and boring, it takes all the fun out, and if you don't have fun doing it, drawing sucks... but hey it was an experiment! Is nice to try new things! :3
Oh thanks (#^.^#) oh yes Gimp is nice, but I have to say that I had some problems to using it in the beginning especially understand the layers, but like all the others things it takes time and patience to learn. I would like to try the other brushes but I don't know when I'm gonna try digital again because is very difficult for me ^^" thanks for the comment anyway :D
yes I did, and IT. WAS. PAINFUL. I know that people usually do digital art with the tablet but my tablet is very small and not good for drawing, so yeah I just had the computer to work with. I swear the line art took me the double of the time of coloring. NEVERMORE! even while I was coloring I continued to adjust and redone it!

She looks amazing, I can't draw with a mouse at all, so I'm really impressed! Gimp is a great program ^^ I used to use it all the time, for drawing and making eCards etc. There are loads of gimp brushes you can find on DeviantArt too. I'll see if I can send you a link sometime. I found them really useful and fun!
