wow you're really amazing to be an amateur! you have a natural talent then! thanks so much for the tips, I should search for my old colored pens and try to do something in the future!
Nothing is impossible if you're have the will to do it. Im making one drawing with blending pens, pencils, gel pens, see through markers and...(hopefully) will start adding paint brush markers and maybe crayons in the future.
Did i mention being complete amateur without any art school and a single minute spend on any kind of tutorials? If a dude who have no clue about art can do this, you can do it to. Have more faith in yourself.
Some probably obvious tips with pens i can give you are:
- try to avoid pens who gather/spill ink quickly when used
- make very/delicate strokes (that should give u more time before a solid amount of ink gathers in one place on pen which lessens probability that ink land on the paper because you have more time to notice and clean it with a tissue, piece of paper ect.)
- when you're giving more pressure be ready to clean the pen often
- and even if you spoil the paper with ink like i do sometimes just swear once or twice and... continue like nothing happened.
