Yes it is. This was originally just intended as quick sketch, then added shadows more detailed, then i added the green on her fish-part. After, i thought i could add some red and orange for skin et voilá. Bubbles in blue and green and a little white highlights. Erased some of the color on her tail to get the cross-hatching effect. All in all, it was a process of adding and deleting :D
this looks amazing! how did you get this desaturated colors? it seems like graphite with just some color pencil on top, but I can't really understand..? as much as a lover of colors this looks so good!
