Hmmm, sometimes I erase the pencil lines, if they mark the edge of something soft. I did that with the dress. On her legs the pencil is only partially erased, so as to keep a gentle outline. If I'm colouring something hard (like her shoes) or something that needs to be well defined (her face), I don't need to erase at all.
