From my understanding, the big question with AI in art, like with most things, is the legality of it.
At what point does using AI-generated art count as plagiarism since AI just merges and takes inspiration from already-existing artwork?
It does lighten some of the load of artistic labor and can clean up someone's flaws, but since it is still drawing from (pun intended) other people's work, it gets murky.
I also have heard of people not liking AI software being used to make manga and anime because of this, with people trying to ascertain what % of the labor is automated.
Also, AI voice mimicry has become an issue because you could have an AI Program outright replace or substitute for a real professional VA. That gets really scary.

Wondering what all the hubbub is about, I’ve looked into all the AI art stuff, and oh boy… but I think using it as just a reference or an inspiration the way you did here is fine. You still put the time and work into actually creating something.

@PastelNeko:
Technically, it's a cross between Akira Toriyama's Vegeta and ZUN's Marisa Kirisame...
But yes, you do have permission to draw her.

@Kazamas-Keyblade:
I…had not heard about the voice-mimicry AI. That’s downright disturbing.
