Yeah, I agree, it's definitely more subdued and simplistic. Kinda feels like Bleach mixed with KH or Soul Eater--it's kinda ethereal trying to describe it. Really cool how you were able to draw the comparison between Deku and Lag.

Wow, that was quick! I've read one of the manga volumes for Tegami Bachi, and the anime is way back in my Watch Later tab, so this was a cool mix.
