That's possibly because you joined right around when the site was slowing down. They stopped announcing member promotions around 2015/16. I was promoted to the highest rank back in 2014, but I've been here since 2009.
Idk why the site slowed down so fast, but it made me really sad for quite a while. Now, it's just a handful of people who don't want it to die out and hope it will grow again.
thats weird because I never even posted 10 different comics on this site. obviosly any moderator or someone that can fix things up doesnt exist anymore. I always wanted to become an Otakuite++ to make chalenges, but it never happened. it's 8 years that i'm on this website
Waaaaay back when, they used to give you a 24 hour waiting period for submission to be approved/denied until you reached a certain amount of approved works. Once you hit that number, they will automatically post it without the waiting period. I want to say 10 is the magic number. And this goes for per series, not per page.

i wonder why it makes you wait 24 hours to update your comic pages. for me is an immediate process just like the fanart.
