Dagel, your sister is right. angelos mean messengers. But from whom? Angels are mentioned in the Bible. So... the prove I know deep in my knowledge is that they are from there. I don't where the guardian angel thing came from but I imagine it is related to the Bible in some way or stolen.)=-=(*grr* And plus... angels don't have a physical shape. (^-^ So... the bible describes them having wings as in a human form(if this makes sense?). Maybe one thing that everyone draws them because angels are far more beautiful than humans? that's so gorgeous, I'm really awed by that. Great drawing. I really couldn't answer that question for you, but I do agree with diresilver. THere's somtihng about people with wings that just draws me in, not just angels, anyone. . .

i didnt know all angels were males! :D haha, i also agree with diresilver......o crap i got poisin ivy (random) lol and some of the angels i draw dont have wings, or look pretty, but are wierd (non human shaped) beings, just big abstract glowy thingys in the sky lols..o and i bet pple draw them with wings alot because they just look kool heh
