Eeep, I'm late to the celebration but I brought the party mix Rebbi-san *hold up six pack beer* I saw the casts a little while ago and I'm also a little disappointed at the casting; Raito doesn't look like Raito... if just by appearance alone, I think L and Raito's cast should switch roles. I hope in this movie L can sport wild hair. By now the castings should be made final but only for the first installment. I so far had not seen casts for any Mello or Near around. I wonder would they hire foreign actors? it'd be very cool if they do.

Milk Chan: Yuppies! DN's gonna be made into two movies, planning to be released in June and October. The actor for Yagami Light is Fujiwara Tatsuya (from Battle Royale), and I have to say im kinda disappointed since he looks nothing like the evil+cunning Light. Matsuyama Kenichi is casted as L and I'm further disappointed by this (you'll know why after you've seen his photo...) Misa is still undecided as far as i know but the Shinigami will be CG.
