I sketched out a couple pictures that looked cute but didn't really end up having a wintery feel, before coming up with this. I wanted to convey sort of the "dead-like" dangerous feel of winter...hopefully I did a good job with that drawing this psychotic homicidal sword-woman/schoolgirl. I don't have much of a reason for making the design the way I did, I just got carried away with my obsession with drawing schoolgirl outfits and fantasy clothes...and basically combined the two.
