This nearly killed me. Not really. Sort of. Whatever.

This was a project that i took on in Art 1...They wouldnt let me be in Art 2. (I hate being a freshman...Thank God theres only three more days of that.) But back on topic, this got a lot of attention. People would just like...stare at it while i was working on it. Which was so aggrivating becuase i HATE it when people watch me when i draw. Its just torture.

It took me...I dont know how long to finish this drawing. Its huge, like poster sized. I think it took almost two months. It was in the winter sometime, i dont really remember. My whole school year was kind of a blur. Well anyway, it when on to win best of show in some contest that my art teacher neglected to tell me about. I had to name it something, so i named it The Look, because thats what the photo that i copied this from said it was. And then it went on to be displayed in Easter Oregon University or something...Actually i have no idea where it journied...

Its done in pencil, obviously. My first pencil drawing in YEARS.

Oh yeah, its a drawing of classic gorgeous 40s actress, Lauren Bacall. Why were people so much prettier back then?
