this little lady doesn't need her gangster to take you down.
she's got her own tommy gun.

"moll" was a slang term used in the twenties to refer to a gangster's girl. "jane" was just a referral to any female. a tommy gun was a submachine gun popular among gangsters.
okay, so anyway, i freaking love the twenties. like, seriously. that was the BEST decade of the twentieth century, yo!! the fashion, music, and technological advances that brought us to our modern world today were all beginning in the twenties! in fact, we're bringing back the past nowadays with bob haircuts (like mine!), dress styles, and swing dancing. in my opinion, it's really cool how we're like, reliving the culture from back then.
so yeah, i can say for sure that i AM going to be working on yesterday's tomorrow because of my new found love for the early 1900s. i'll add in lots of historical references and stuff, to make it educational! -brick'd-
anyway, probably my favourite part of the time is there aren't any goths or scene kids or anything. they had flapper girls and gangsters in the twenties, who were different, but they were not as out there as goth/emo/scene kids. i'd totally be a flapper girl, if i lived back then. however, i will have holt's future-time "acquaintances" there and they are punkish, but there ain't gonna be an over-abundance.
yup! this lady's gonna be a baddie. I CAN FEEL IT WRITHING IN BETWEEN MY TOES.
