Phew, finally finished. It's a bit daunting submitting this after seeing everyone else's wonderful entries, but I'm very proud of this piece.

There's plenty that comes to mind when I think of NYC, but most of all, I think of it as a universal city, which is why my mascot isn't really defined by particular landmarks or symbols related to New York, save the apple. Also, the eclectic style, to me, represents a sort of East-meets-West thing.

I even tried to make her a little Irish (my only real connection to NYC are the Scotch-Irish relatives that live there XD), but the freckles really don't show up well and the hair is more blond than red. Oh well. I had a lot of fun on this and I hope you all like it as much as I do.
