I'll explain, L is Kakashi since he was technically the sensei to both Near and Mello. Mello is Sasuke do to the fact he's a rival of Near and Near turns out to be one of the hero's within Death Note. I was almost tempted to draw Matt as Sakura. Then I would've said: Hey! Mello! Looks like you have a fanboy!
