See the silver-haired one? Yeah? That's not Riku. Soma is my take on what happened to the Riku Replica ("Repliku") after the events of the Chain of Memories manga.

Naminé didn't kill Repliku, she merely shattered his heart. In the 4koma panels at the end of volume two, we see Repliku alive and well, wandering away from the castle--his meeting with the real Riku was cut short, and they never so much as crossed blades.

I just added on to that, saying that when he was sucked through a corridor of darkness, the memories Naminé implanted into him were erased, leaving him only with the memories of his creation. 8D
