This is the rough draft for a drawing that I have to have done in less than ten days. It's for a competition for high schoolers that is held at a university in my state. I won last year with my drawing "The Look." So I am pretty confident I can win again. *crosses fingers*

Actually last year, my drawing took like two months. But my art teacher neglected to tell me that the contest was coming up soon, so I had really no time to prepare for this one. But I think I can pull it off.

I'm doing it in Prismacolor pencils so I can add all the vibrant colors in the clothing and the flowers.

The image was inspired by about fifteen different pictures of geisha, so it's not just a copy from one picture. And it's probably not going to look exactly the same when it's done (especially the background).

I hope to have the finished one done soon! I had to drop all my other projects as soon as I found out about the competition, so maybe I'll get back to those once this is done....
