“In that world, you'll be able to rise in the morning with the spirit you had known in your childhood: that spirit of eagerness, adventure and certainty which comes from dealing with a rational universe”
- Ayn Rand
Or to put it in layman's terms...
ADVENTUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRE!!!!!
Finished it! ... Well, almost, it'll probably be totally finished and tweaked after an hour more. So far, it only took about....a million and 1 hours. Seriously. This thing was huge. 2700x3000 pixels is not going to take 2 hours like normal, no sir'ee.
The bottom is kind of bad. But that's okay! I'll tweak it at school tomorrow and probably update it back here.
Sooo.....here are the characters and a little about them and the whole storyline together:
Marcelline (little girl) - a 7 year old orphan who lives in a junkyard (unbeknownst to the owner). She is very ebullient, tomboyish, adventurous, and always ready for doors opened to her! She befriended Washing Machine and Quasimodo, and is now on an adventure to get Quasimodo out of Paris and France all together so that he won't be made into escargot!
Quasimodo (snail) - a giant snail who spittled out of a pipe in the junkyard one fine day. Although he cannot talk, he gives the impression of having a worrisome personality, but he is very attached to Marcelline despite her bold personality. He is trying to get out of France along with Marcelline and Washing Machine.
Washing Machine (cubular object with wings) - a "broken" yet puppy-like laundry device whose door has never opened. The couple who bought him tried time and time again to get the door to open so it might get about their unkempt cloth-related bailiwick, but to no avail, so they tossed it out. Little did they know, Washing Machine's real purpose was never to do laundry: It was to FLY! Thus, we have wings. It is trying to get Quasimodo out of France along with Marcelline.
Pierre Dufour (chef flying the plane) - a washed-up chef who's trying to regain his fame by making the biggest, best escargot France, and the whole world, mind you, has ever seen! The only problem is: he has his sights set on Quasimodo! Very twitchy and hot-headed, Pierre will stop at nothing to catch Quasimodo. Luckily, we have Marcelline and Washing Machine who are ready to protect Quasimodo from his grasp!
Not pictured, but critical to the storyline (minus the spoilers):
Bruno, Olivier, Charlot, and Jules - orphan boys who also live in the junkyard. Marcelline's best human friends.
Sir Ferdinand Montblanc - a very, very, very rich nobleman who is very interested in this escargot.
Ahahhahahahhaaaaaahhh... ah. I want to write a story now.
Alas, why dost God forsake me by lacking mine hand of creative writing? Woe is me.
