So anyways, this one started off as just that little girl, cuz I wanted to draw something cute with ears and then it just looked bare, so I decided to try a full-ish bg. I like the way the sunset turned out. And those spaces are clouds :D
I learned two things
1. Fire is NOT my friend
2.Fire places aren't as easy as they might look

So I know that its not exactly proportionate, but I wanted to try that big head, little feet, curvy body thing. And I thought her feet were too cute to make them bigger.
Aside from the suck-ish fire,fireplace and other things I do like this one.
I think she turned out really cute.
OH
And Onigiri is a clock.
Don't mind that onigiri's eye smudged.Accident.
And that blue stuff on Onigiri is shading LOL

I forgot to color her anklet thing, and I'm too lazy to color it in then re-scan. Those are her socks on the mantel

And I tried adding some more depth to my shading by adding black. Tell me how it looks?
You know I love constructive criticism.
Also my bro told me my style looks more cartoon-ish than anime. Can anyone give me any tips to make it look more like anime? Please?
