welcome to NYAF 2009...

my ideas are really too common but thats what makes it recognizable.. i guess.. XD

so yeh.. i've never been to new york so the only thing i know bout it is somewhat like this... since it is for the anime festival, im sticking with the cosplay idea with the big anime eyes.. i dont know how lady liberty's hairstyle is so i just improvised.. XD and the spikes.. ugh... if i didnt saw a pic of the statue, i would've put 8 spikes there... XD

a big apple pin on her shoulder.. i can only make the big apple as some kind of accessory.. but it's big enough for an accessory.. i bet that's gonna be heavy.. XD

some paperworks.. it's suppose to be some kind of flyers of/for nyaf.. i hope so... *signature somewhere in there too*

buildings and the empire state at the middle of her dress.. it's upside down coz it's part of the design.. lol.. it was actually just ruffles but i thought i should add a little more something to my entry... XD

some city lights.. photoshop wont let me erase those excess on the sides and now it looks like it's circulating around her.. XD but the real idea was to make it look like the lights were reflected in her skirt coz the skirt is suppose to represent the rivers in new york.. i've only seen new york in post cards and there's always rivers and buildings and pretty city lights.. so yeh.. that was my idea but it was hard getting that part so.. *sigh* it's all representational stuff..

i could've added a background behind her but ehh.. this could be used for presenting some guests at nyaf or "..this way please.." or something else.. lol... so i thought bg isnt that necessary.. *whatever reirei.. just running away from bgs!* XD

where's the torch..? =/ it would've been better if it was there.. it's a cosplay after all.. *low budget* XD
