This here is Nexus, he one of the characters of Teluria. Nexus grew up on Terra for most of his childhood, an orphan living as a street punk until he was old enough to join a group of mercenaries and leave the planet. He traveled the Galaxy and earned a lot of experience in the process. When during a hostage situation on a planet, Nexus offers his help, he is excluded from the group and ends up in the Telurian Order Recruiting Office thanks to the local law enforcement there.
Nexus is a distant individual on the outside but a very good person despite his apparent lack of care and concern. He tends to treat people uninterestedly and doesn't step back from a fight or challenge. He has a habit of clearly speaking his mind, which gets him into trouble sometimes, even with his new captain, Katya.
