I started drawing this and realized, 'Wow! That cape would look good with Natalya's casual dress!' but it was too late to go back and draw it with her casual dress, I already started inking.
This was colored my old-fashioned way! The shading in the ruffles and ribbons nearly disappeared when I shrunk it to its current size. I forgot to put crosses on her cape, but again, too late to go back (also I was too lazy). Originally the whole background was going to be wine red, but I decided that the brown looked more vintage and went better with the over-all image. It was all tedious work, and the old style of coloring isn't very controlled, gotta keep bending things to get it the way you want with out actually touching it, you know?
I think it turned out beautiful in the end though! I just love it!
