Although I shouldn't have, since I have way too much classwork to get done, I ended up spending all of yesterday and a little today working on this. It started with a practice sketch using a pose reference from CharacterDesigns.com and I liked it and wanted to finish it...

Her ears are angled up more than I usually do - I just thought that was more fitting for this. One of the things that made it take so long was her hair - I tried a new way to color it, and I'm pleased with how it turned out. =)
