I'm no good at romance so bear with this...
well i found this old lineart in my room so i decided to color it. I wanted to make it look soft and loving or yeah.
well the charries are Zylar and Naomi Bears oc Ayame.
They used to be lovers when they were younger but something happened that caused them to get seperated. Zylar searched for a long time for her but could never find her and thought it would be pointless to continue waiting for her to show up again. Zylar does end up falling in love with a human and even goes on to marry her. Then it gets awkward. Ayame comes back into the picture, not knowing that Zylar is married and now expecting a child with the human girl. Ayame accepts the fact but of course she still longs to be with him. Though Zylar is married and deeply in love with Yuka (human girl) he'll always have a spot for Ayame in his heart.
Since Zylar can't always seem to keep it in his pants he probably does make love to Ayame despite his commitment to Yuka. In his mind, he's doing something that he promised her that they'd be able to do when they got older.
