Long time no see!

I honestly have no idea when I last added something here, but I have moved house now (2 months ago) and there is an upper level which I wanted to use for drawing and finally having settled down, I decided to give it a go and this is the result:

The photograph I modelled this on is from 1997, believe it or not. I was looking for something to draw for the first time in ages and for some stupid reason I chose this image. I think it worked pretty well though ~ Spins ~ it has been on and off for the last 3 days because I am lazy and easily distracted ~ Winks ~ That and watching it evolve is actually way more fun over time!

It is of me and my mum on, I believe, my 9th birthday (the cake is erased mostly in the flash so I guessed on the design). I chose this picture too because I like myself at that age, I fascinate myself lol

With regards to the art itself ~ Eyebrow twitches ~ I hate lips, totally and utterly they are evil. As you can probably tell I gave up on mine (I am the young one). Mum's worked out better because she is grinning, but her nose, mouth and eyes aren't great but I left them since from a distance it can be forgiven. I like the clothes though ~ Spins ~ Especially mum's. My T-Shirt was annoying, it has been ages since I had to try and draw Thunderbird 2 (I 2was obsessed at age 9) ~ cracks up ~ I have clearly forgotten how. It was fun to learn though.

Oh well, enjoy and here's hoping this is the first of many to come ~ Crosses fingers ~ Should I actually be entering into an art phase I will become more active around here and check things again
