Solid book (soon to be series), though I preferred the Percy Jackson ones more.
And I really enjoyed that reference he had to the Greek gods in the beginning half, LMFAO.

This is my image of Carter from Rick Riordan's book The Red Pyramid.
It specially stated that he was African...American(?) so I went with that. Though I'm pretty sure he was mixed race because the way Riordan wrote it, it seemed like his mother was white and his father of African decent. Maybe it's just my interpretation, though.
I know his skin is lighter than Sadie's, at least.

I liked the whole Egyptian mythology, though I prefer Greek/Roman mythology better... Egyptian just seems too confusing sometimes, haha.

His weapon just sounds all too BA. His outfit and weapon are based off the cover illustration.
