its from the game "Devil May Cry 3"
Dante's father was the demon lord "Sparda" who rebelled against his own race to save humans because he fell in love with a human woman....the woman had twins [Half demons ] "Dante" and "Vergil"....
Vergil somehow misunderstood things and became a bad person.
Dante somehow became good [ sry i haven't played the previous parts so i don't know about it]

About Mary:
Mary's father was obsessed with demonology and wanted to gain that power, for that he even sacrificed his wife. Mary stored her hatred and is now seeking revenge for her mother...[in the game Dante asks her name. she says call her anything (don't care) so he starts calling her lady..... and *walla* her name is Lady :D]

In the game :
the only playable characters are dante and vergil.
Main objective is to defeat Vergil and Mary's Father [ that was short XD ]
