This is Georg and his lover Gustav.
Georg and Gustave love each other. They love each other very much.
They cannot get married, or adopt children, though. They are often harassed, too.
Why?
Is it because George is an alcoholic or had dangerous tendencies? No. He doesn't.
What about because Gustav is abusive or unsafe to guard a child? No. He is perfectly safe and peaceful.
Are they harassed because they are rude or disrespectful? No. They are wonderful citizens.
It is because George and Gustav are both hands (and men).
But, George and Gustav have never done anything unlawful or unjust!
So, is it fair?
Would you like it if it was up To the angry, heart-broken Georg whether you wed or not?
Or if the harassed, bruised, and disrespected Gustav could decide whether you deserved children, or respect?
I don't think you'd like that.
Georg and Gustav don't like it either.

--I tried to phrase this lightly and not make it too serious, but really.
This has a meaning. George and Gustav are my left and right hands. I don't want them cut off for loving each other.
I don't want to be cut off from the world if I love a woman, either, though.
I want peace.
