This is my newest piece - apologies for not submitting anything for such a long time!

There is so much going on in this piece in terms of personal symbology and meaning that is going to be a bit of a challenge to break this down...let's keep it simple then!

In theory, Love between two people should be about flying together, side by side. At some point, Love and affection for a person could turn into an obsession that holds both lovers prisioner.

That's why my girl here is turning from happy, blue skies to another realm, holding tight a heart that does not need to be kept chained, cuz it would would follow her anyways.

Graphically, it's pastels again on Fabriano paper, probably my favourite media Influence-wise, I'm really into Fauvism and early XX Century trends - which explains the splashes of green. I chose again an Asian girl as a subject matter cuz they're so pretty
