The main element for the Cancer Sun Sign is water, which I used to show how emotions run deep, though the reflection gives a shallow impression (a common misunderstanding with Cancers). The main purpose for the reflection is actually to display the duality of the Cancer, we tend to be moody , with the crab mascot as her hand's reflection.
As the ruling planet, the moon illuminates the background casting her in shadow, reiterating the mysteriousness and changeability of the typical Cancer. She reaches out but stays in the shadow as the contradictory Cancerian often struggles with.
