So, last summer, I was hit with this brick of inspiration. That particular brick of inspiration was no ordinary brick; it inspired me to draw tons of traditional art, something that I had been starting to drop (as I was becoming more confident with digital art). So, I went on a traditional art spree, doing several birthday presents in that style, as well as bringing my characters to life with the creamy kind of coloring I like to use.

This was probably my most favorite piece of work from that time. It features Malcolm, my character, sitting in a forest somewhere. Not that original of an idea, but the background sure is pretty!
