Here's Maravile, another character from my story Guardian. She's a powerful water spirit and neutral character, capable of changing from a beautiful woman to a massive finned sea serpent.

She was once a good Guardian, but when her beloved master was murdered by her arch-enemy Catira a hundred years ago, Maravile went insane, throwing herself into self-exile and allowing her hatred to intensify from years of isolation. Maravile lives in a secluded grotto near a small land bridge that provides the only road between two major continents. During the day, she crawls from the watery depths of her home and sits atop a cliff overlooking the strait, singing an enchanted song that puts all passing humans and Guardians under her spell. Entranced by her beautiful voice, they try to find her at all costs, either perishing when they try to climb the deadly cliff or being torn to shreds by Maravile's unrelenting fury.

Maravile hates all humans and Guardians in existence, with the exception of Karvas, her earth Guardian friend and love interest. Her obsession with Karvas is the only reason Maravile decides to help the main character Phoebe on her quest.
