I always had the idea of Orihime joining Squad 4 of the Gotei 13 in Soul Society. Her personality and skills are most suitable for that squad, and she's most likely to be a Kidou specialist too. As Captain Ukitake have pointed out, Orihime will become a great Shinigami when she passes on.

Inspired by Lisa Yadoumaru's Shinigami uniform and pose, I drew Orihime in such a style because I think it suits her. Well, basically I just want to reveal some skin. I've also done some minor changes to her hairstyle and gave her a more serious expression.

Seriously, it was my first time drawing a sword. I wasn't particularly good at it yet. I did color the blade in the same shade as her Shun Shun Rikka.
