This is not a traditional media for anime, I know, but I think that's why this challenge is so cool!

This is a birthday cake I made for my niece. I made anime-styled versions of the classic Alice in Wonderland characters.

Everything is edible. The cake is sitting on a fondant covered board with hand painted tiles. The table cloth is fondant, covering the actual cake. The characters are sitting on chairs molded out of rice crispy treats, covered in fondant; the characters and tea are hand sculpted out of gum paste and hand painted. I use edible dusting powders and gel-based food coloring to paint everything.
