When the idea of using a mirror first popped into my head, I wanted to draw a really vain character. Then I realized I dislike shallow characters... so I decided to draw Haruhi.

I figure if Haruhi looked in the mirror when she was all dolled up, she'd be more surprised at her prettiness than vain.
