Okay, so... I worked really hard for this pic, spent a lot of time on it. I'd been wanting to do a steampunk-styled character design for a while, and I had the sketch for a long time until I finally decided what to do with it. (<- Seems to always be the case with my favorite ones. XD) Anyway, I used the stroke-path tool in Gimp to do the lineart. And let me tell you, it's not really that hard at all. It just takes a bit of time. ^^; The part that takes even longer is coloring, and harder still is coming up with just the right background. This is all part of my process; I know everyone's is different. Anywho, I spent a lot of time on this and love how it turned out. Especially her hair... and the lace on the dress I added with a lace brush from www.obsidian.com, I believe. Other brushes are from brusheezy, like always~ Anyway please comment and let me know if this is a good style for steampunk or not! I would appreciate some feedback on this one. ^^ Thank you!
